MARRIED At First Sight UK star Holly Ditchfield has broken down in tears opening up about her premature twins and the sweet way her brother plans to help the hospital she welcomed her babies in. Holly, who appeared on MAFS in 2024, welcomed her twins four months early with her partner Aaron Summers this week. In an emotional video the parents shared on Saturday morning, Holly was seen choking back tears after it was revealed her brother will be running the Great North Run to raise money. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! Holly and Aaron spoke about Holly’s brother who is running to raise money for the neonatal unit and NICU unit. She then went on to provide her fans and followers with an update on her two babies, Georgie & Marley Summers, while getting tearful in the process. “We never thought we was gonna be yeah premature baby parents,” Holly said while becoming teary. “You know as someone who’s had full-term pregnancies before you don’t prepare yourself for how small your babies are gonna be and how fragile they are and the things that. Most read in TV “You have to take with a pinch of salt and pray that it’s a bounce back,” she said emotionally. Holly later added: “You’ve got to stay strong and keep fighting for your children because at the end of the day It’s our strength that’s keeping them going. “And they’re fighting for us to be here with us. “So would really appreciate it if everyone could just go and take a look.” Both Holly and Aaron urged people to have a read of the donation page. There is a JustGiving page where Holly’s brother Josh has written about his mission to raise money. “On Sunday 13th September, I am taking on the AJ Bell Great North Run—a 13.1-mile half marathon—to raise vital funds for the incredible team at the Leeds Centre for Neonatal/NICU Care,” he said. “This challenge is deeply personal. My sister Holly and her partner Aaron recently welcomed their two beautiful twin boys into the world. “Born incredibly early at just 23 weeks and 5 days gestation, my two tiny nephews, Georgie and Marley are Preemies and are currently in the Leeds NICU ward, receiving round-the-clock intensive care. “Watching Holly and Aaron stay so strong while Georgie and Marley fight hard every single day has inspired me to do everything I can to support them.” At the time of publication, Josh has already raised £824 of his £1,000 target. When Holly announced the birth of her babies during the week, she penned online: “The last few days have been some of the scariest, most surreal and emotional moments of our lives. “On 26.08.26, our two beautiful boys, Georgie & Marley Summers, entered the world at just 23 weeks + 5 days.” She continued: “Our tiny boys may be incredibly small, but they have already shown us just how incredibly strong they are. “They are both doing amazing and showing absolutely impeccable reactions to all the treatment and care they are receiving in NICU.” “Both Aaron and I cannot thank the care team enough for everything they have done for us — not just during the boys’ arrival, but throughout the time leading up to it too.” “I was faced with things I never imagined I would have to experience, and the support we received made me feel so safe, heard and protected. “Having to prepare for the arrival of two premature babies at just 23 weeks was something I was never prepared for, but the care, reassurance and constant support from the incredible teams around us helped carry us through,” wrote the star. Telling fans that she won’t be online as much as usual whilst the family navigate the birth, she added: “My only priority has been getting myself as fit, well and strong as possible to safely deliver my boys and, since their arrival, being there for them and focusing on our little family. 🤍 “Our journey is only just beginning, and there is still a long road ahead of us, but for now we are soaking up every single second with our two little fighters.” Comment now
