Made In Chelsea star Alik’s life away from fame as he gets married 10 years after being cheated on by Louise Thompson

LOUISE Thompson may be settled into family life with fiancé Ryan Libbey now, but there was once a time she was head over heels for American hunk Alik Alfus – and it’s one that longtime Made In Chelsea fans will remember well. The pair agreed to continue a long-distance relationship and Alik was often seen on the show as he flew over to London to be with Louise. But Louise and Alik hit a rock early on in the romance when co-star Lucy Watson claimed that Louise had cheated on Alik – with the star admitting she had engaged in hook-ups on nights out where she had ‘blacked out’. She began a romance with her personal trainer Ryan, whom she is now engaged to and shares son Leo with, very quickly after the split – which prompted Alik to believe she had been unfaithful with Ryan, which Louise denied. Following the heartbreak, Alik returned to the US and left the show – other than a brief return later on which again saw him clash with Louise and Ryan. He did later appear on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, but failed to find love in the UK and hasn’t been seen on the small screen since. Most read in TV Now, a decade on, Alik is enjoying life away from the spotlight and secretly tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Charlotte Svendsen, last year. He is thought to have been with the stunning brunette since 2020. The couple had a very low-key city hall wedding ceremony in Manhattan last August, followed by a loft party with close pals and family. They live together in New York, with Alik, now 37, the founder of a leather goods fashion brand, Atelier Aplomb. Meanwhile, Charlotte, who turns 30 next month, is a Psychology Researcher. It’s not known whether Alik still sees his Made In Chelsea co-stars, but he does still interact online with Jamie Laing and Proudlock. Comment now
