Macklemore Announces “Free Palestine Tour”

Following his removal as an opener from Ed Sheeran’s tour, Macklemore has announced a series of headline performances under the banner “Free Palestine.” The run will kick off in October with arena shows in Dublin, Paris, and London, with additional cities — including stops in the United States — expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Each show will feature Macklemore alongside artists and friends for performances intended to raise humanitarian aid and awareness for Palestine and Palestinians. As such, all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations including Anera, Glia, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Taawon, HEAL Palestine, Palestinian Youth Movement, Middle East Children’s Alliance, Jewish Voice for Peace, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Institute for Middle East Understanding, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and UNRWA USA. “It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore,” Macklemore wrote it an Instagram post announcing the tour. “People are asking artists to show up, educate themselves and be in community.
