M67 closed in both directions ‘throughout the day’ over ‘police-led incident’ as drivers face delays – see diversion

A MAJOR UK motorway has been closed in both directions following a “police led incident.” The M67 has closed in both directions between Junction 3 Hyde and Junction 4 Woolley Bridge, in Derbyshire. National Highways warned drivers that the nature of the incident will likely leave the road closed throughout the day. National Highways said: “The M67 has closed in both directions between J3 Hyde and J4 WoolleyBridge due to a Police led incident. “Due to the nature of the incident, the road is likely to remain closed throughout the day. “No delays in the area at present.”
