M&S just launched an ‘irresistible’ new version of everyone’s favourite chocolate bar

And the selection just got even better, as the retailer has launched a new twist on a firm favourite. Fans of the Choc Marks range will be familiar with the Blond Chocolate and Pistachio Bar, which until recently was only available in a larger 180g format, for £3.50. But Marks & Spencer just unveiled a brand new mini version for snacking on-the-go, which is 50g, and costs £1.40. The ‘irresistible’ new bar combines Swiss blond chocolate with Californian pistachios, shortbread pieces, cornflakes and a hint of sea salt, to create a ‘nutty, sweet, and crunchy’ treat. M&S announced its arrival on social media, sharing: ‘New in the M&S Foodhall – another blond bombshell. ‘You went crazy for our BIG version last year, now we’ve reimagined it in a smaller format for on-the-go snacks or an indulgent treat for yourself.’ They added: ‘This is an absolute must-try for caramelised choc fans.’ The blond chocolate is a firm favourite with M&S shoppers (Picture: Marks & Spencer) In response to the Instagram post, M&S fans have been going wild, with a user known as @rach_l_gym_acc sharing: ‘This is my fave of this range, well pleased it’s now available in smaller bars.’ Similarly, @chloe.massini proclaimed that it was her ‘absolute favourite’ of all M&S’s chocolate bars. This comes after Metro recently shared the results of a new milk chocolate taste test, pitting supermarket own-brand bars against Cadbury Dairy Milk to see which is the best. And there was a surprising own-brand product that was deemed as good as the classic treat. You can read all about it here. In other chocolate news, Galaxy revealed two brand new flavours. Galaxy Millionaire Crumble and Galaxy Cinnamon Swirl are now available in Iceland and The Food Warehouse. They also appear to be available in select Spar stores in Scotland. And Tony’s Chocolonely has also dropped a new launch, introducing a Milk Popcorn Crunch bar. This is a ‘sweet and salty’ treat with roasted, caramelised popcorn pieces with 32% Fairtrade Belgian milk chocolate.
