M&S is giving away retro chocolate bars for FREE to customers today for one-day only

MARKS and Spencer is giving away one million retro chocolate bars to customers today. For one-day only, lucky shoppers will be able to pick up the nostalgic snack for free. Shoppers can then pick up a retro Sparks bar in store and then scan their Sparks card at the till. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! An M&S spokesperson said: “What better way to make this Tuesday a little sweeter than with free chocolate? “We’re surprising one million of our loyal Sparks customers with a Sparks bar which is one of our retro-inspired products, complete with its original St Michael packaging. “It’s all part of Sparks Tuesdays, bringing our Sparks members fresh offers and more reasons to shop their favourites every week.” Featuring the original St Michael logo, the bar is part of a revival of snacks from the 80s that M&S revived earlier this year. The Sparks bar is loaded with soft nougat and caramel, mimicking a Mars Bar – and shoppers can try it for free thanks to the one-day-only offer. The St Michael brand was owned by M&S from 1927, selling many goods under the name. Most read in Money It was dropped in 2000 after 72 years as part of a rebranding. However, the retailer revived the brand in 2021, selling menswear using the vintage label after clothing donning the brand name became popular on second-hand clothing platforms. Comment now
