He just gave me chances after chances. That’s not the Luke Littler that we all know. “Jonny Clayton can play darts as well. Loved it. “I’ve had enough experience against Luke in the Premier League. I know what he’s about, he knows what I’m about. We play darts, nothing else. “We try and keep the crowd happy and play our best. It was my night, that’s all it is.” Clayton levelled up the match at 3-3 before the first break with a wonderful 136 finish. The Nuke found himself in trouble yet again as Clayton moved up a gear to lead 5-3 with double eight. Littler then took out a big 129 on the bull to stop the rot but it was soon 6-4 as Clayton finished 62 in clinical fashion. After yet more missed doubles from Littler came the Welshman’s signature 121 kill on bull to take control and lead 7-4. Clayton kept up the pressure with a tops finish to go further in front at 8-4 and leave Littler on the ropes. Littler suffered on several more doubles and Clayton moved to 9-4 in front before finishing the job with tops. Comment now
