The video, which circulated on social media on July 16, showed the two jeepneys speeding along a national highway while carrying passengers, including students riding on the roofs of the vehicles. The LTO said the drivers also failed to observe traffic rules and road signs while transporting passengers. The agency said the investigation would determine possible violations of transportation laws and regulations. It also plans to coordinate with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) regarding the franchises of the two jeepneys.
