LPA outside PAR expected to trigger rains, thunderstorms in parts of PH

MANILA, Philippines—Parts of the Visayas and Mindanao may experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday as the trough or extension of a low-pressure area (LPA) continues to affect the eastern section of the country, the state weather bureau said Monday. As of Monday afternoon, the LPA was still outside the Philippine area of responsibility
