‘Loving’ dad, 44, killed after being hit by six vehicles including cop car on major A-road is pictured as tributes paid

TRIBUTES have been paid for a “loving” dad who was killed in a six vehicle horror crash on a major A-road. According to police, as they rushed to the busy road, five vehicles and one cop car hit the dad. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! Gerard was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family said: “Gerard was a loving husband and father. A wonderful and generous person with a good heart. “He will always be in our memories. As a family we ask for privacy during this difficult time.” After the tragedy, which saw the busy road shut for a day, Dyfed-Powys Police made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office of Police Conduct. Cops also issued a wider appeal for any information regarding the incident.
