My sister saved me and she had a broken arm.” Nathan was recalling the story after a listener wrote in with a question, asking: “Please tell me I’m not a monster. It was 10 minutes before I realised.” Answering the listener, Nathan said: “That’s why I would never do that, because I’m conscious of what happened to me as a child. I would never leave my child. “Listen, I’m going with guilty. You f****d up there, geez.” Cara, 36, added: “If I was his wife, I would hold that over his head. You’d be stuffed forever.” Most read in TV She and Nathan are one of Love Island’s biggest success stories. They split briefly after Cara fell pregnant with Freddie just nine months after winning the show but very quickly reconciled. Speaking recently on Tom Clare and Molly Smith’s Nearlyweds podcast, Nathan said: “Do you know what, Fred was the best thing that ever happened to me. “Because I would be dead if I didn’t have him. He made me into a man.” Unlike many of their Love Island counterparts, Cara and Nathan have lived a relatively normal life despite their huge popularity and he recently revealed he’s still working as a carpenter.
