Love Island winner Sanam Fagan eyeing up TV return with top BBC reality show

SANAM Fagan has revealed she and husband Kai are eyeing up another reality TV challenge – Race Across The World. The Love Island winners took home the £50,000 cash prize when they won season nine of the show in 2023, and have since got married, built a home and business together. Speaking to The Sun, Sanam revealed: “we both actually want to do Race Across the World. Sign up for the Love Island newsletter Thank you! “I feel like that is a different level of like testing each other and like a different side to people because there’s a lot of pressure, the whole thing but I feel like I’ll be really good at it.” And while Sanam may be ready to leave her Love Island days behind, she had some advice for future Islanders. Credit: Rex Speaking to The Sun, Sanam opened up about the You Can Adopt campaign and her work as a post-adoption social care worker “if you don’t want to have a handbag, I get it, but just put it in your shoe or something.” Away from the glamour of reality TV, Sanam has remained committed to her career in post-adoption social care – something she began long before finding fame. Most read in TV Now she is using her platform to raise awareness by partnering with the You Can Adopt campaign. Sanam said: “I hope that it encourages anyone who is thinking about adoption to make that first step, or anyone that maybe hasn’t even crossed their mind about adoption, again, to make that first step. “It’s as simple as that, and I think the more people we bring forward, the more we can possibly support these young people, because I truly believe that these families are out there for these children, they just haven’t come forward yet.” Her message to potential adopters is simple: “Don’t rule yourself out. Don’t think you have to be perfect. Don’t think you have to have everything before adopting.” She and Kai are considering adoption themselves. Sanam added: “We’ve both said that when the time comes to talk about that next step in our life, we will talk about if adoption is right for us and look at considering that if it’s right for us in that time.” “We definitely do want kids.” Comment now
