LOVE Island’s Niall Aslam has returned to social media after a TWO year break, and eight years after his sudden exit from the villa. The former Islander, now 31, was part of the OG line-up for the 2018 series of the ITV2 reality show, but walked out after just eight days. Niall shared a slew of hunky shots of himself without his shirt on, showing off his muscles and tattoos. The former villa star wrote next to the photos: “Checking back in after a few years. Had a great time in Crete meeting some of the locals!” Fans rushed to say how thrilled they were that the star was back on social media, with one writing: “Good to see you! The former reality star also previously explained to fans that he has Asperger’s Syndrome, which made it more difficult for him to adjust to life on the reality show. This might explain why I thought the show was all as it seems as I’m quite a literal thinker. “When I got there, there were loads of little things that I didn’t see coming; I thought you could just chat to whoever you want but it was all very set up in ways of like: ‘Don’t talk to her’, or: ‘No, you like that person.'” Niall went on: “I’m quite an unpredictable person and I think they want to be able to know what you’re going to do next. The stress of this on top of quite a lot of other things started to really get to me.” A rep for Love Island told The Sun at the time “All Islanders are free to make their own decisions regarding who they couple up with and the public vote or format decides who leaves the island, not producers.” Comment now
