Lots Of New Audio Hardware Support In Linux 7.3

Linux sound subsystem maintainer Takashi Iwai of SUSE submitted all of the sound feature updates last week for the Linux 7.3 kernel. Besides the continued AI/LLM-generated patch churn, the sound code for Linux 7.3 sees a lot of new hardware support. New sound platform support with Linux 7.3 includes the AMD ACP7.B/F, Cirrus Logic CS35L62, Loongson 2K0300, Meson GX, Qualcomm LPI MI2S, SM8475, WSA855X, Realtek RT1321 VA1/2 and RT766/7. Quite varied with the typical more Realtek sound ICs and a lot of more niche platforms, new Qualcomm support, and also new AMD Audio Co-Processor IP. The AMD Sound Open Firmware support for the ACP7.B/ACP7.F appears to be for next-gen Ryzen laptops.
