Loomer feuds with Marjorie Taylor Greene over ‘demeaning’ rhetoric about Angie Nixon

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene clashed with right-wing influencer Laura Loomer over her inflammatory remarks about Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon.Over the weekend, Loomer and Nixon got into an increasingly heated verbal confrontation, with the influencer repeatedly calling the candidate a “Ghetto black communist b****,” among other obscenities. Greene, who used to occupy a similar role to Loomer’s in the MAGAsphere as a right-wing provocateur but has since tried to moderate her image, called Loomer out on X and blamed President Donald Trump for her rhetoric.“I’m not a Democrat and I’m not supporting Angie Nixon, but the Republican Party and President Trump owns Laura Loomer and her nonstop vitriol,” she said, along with a screenshot of Loomer doubling down on her comments in response to Nixon. “This hateful, racists, and demeaning rhetoric should not be tolerated. Ever. Voters proved twice that they reject her completely,” she added.Loomer didn’t take the criticism lying down, tearing into Greene over her relationship with another former right-wing provocateur, Milo Yiannopoulos, who was deported to the United Kingdom last week.“Marjorie Traitor Greene says she’s not a Democrat and now wants to accuse me of being racist for calling a ghetto black Senate candidate a ghetto black b****, because that’s what she is and I’m not afraid to say it,” she said in a post on X responding to Greene.“This is the same MTG who hired Milo Yiannopoulos to work for her and let him live in her home where he plotted against President Trump and openly supported designated Islamic terror orgs like Hamas on social media and spread rumors that @POTUS faked his assassination attempt,” Loomer added.Loomer accused Greene of hypocrisy over denouncing her incendiary rhetoric against Nixon, but not what Loomer described as Nixon’s own incendiary rhetoric about Charlie Kirk and white people.Loomer’s comments went viral over the weekend, drawing virulent condemnation from Democrats who sought to link her with the Republican Party and Trump administration. Some observers on the Left tried to portray her as more influential among Republicans than controversial left-wing streamer Hasan Piker is among Democrats. Her proximity to Trump led to her being openly courted by the Ukrainian government, which hoped that her about-face on the Russia-Ukraine war could help Kyiv gain inroads with the Trump administration.
