PALiverpool cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield on Tuesday. The Reds were looking to build on a stuttering start to life under Andoni Iraola, which has seen some unconvincing performances and dodgy draws, but a rotated side, complete with substitute cameos from the first-team stars, was enough to see off Roberto De Zerbi’s visitors.
