Liverpool plot huge Bradley Barcola bid after £145m transfer twist with 'terms agreed'

Liverpool are retooling their attack under new head coach Andoni Iraola and seeking a successor to club icon Mohamed Salah, who departed Merseyside as a free agent last month after an illustrious nine-year stint.Last week, Liverpool are believed to have made an approach for Monaco’s Magnes Akliouche, but it looks like he now favours PSG after they withdrew from the race for Diomande. Now Liverpool are turning attentions firmly back to Barcola, whom it was reported on Sunday was now valued at a whopping £145m by PSG, who have taken notice of the recent fees paid by Chelsea and Manchester City respectively for England duo Morgan Rogers (£117m) and Elliot Anderson (£116m).Transfer specialist Nicolo Schira has since claimed that Liverpool are preparing to test those waters with an opening bid for Barcola worth in excess of €100m (£85m), having reportedly now agreed personal terms with his camp on a six-year contract that would run until the summer of 2032.Sky Germany also report that Liverpool are now weighing up a first offer for Barcola and that personal terms are not expected to be an issue, with more talks scheduled for Monday and the player apparently open to an exit from PSG having not agreed an extension to a contract that has only two years left to run.
