Liverpool ‘make contact with AC Milan over transfer for ex-Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori’ after Joe Gomez injury blow

The Reds have already made an initial move to start talks, according to Tutto Juve. And while everything is still in the early stages, the English star’s name has been added to the shortlist. Reports suggest that costs are being worked out with room for manoeuvres being considered too before an official offer is made. While Gomez is a major cause for concern at the start of the season, Jeremy Jacquet will add to the issue as the club remain cautious following his shoulder surgery. Defenders Ibrahima Konate and Andrew Robertson have also both departed from the club this window. Meanwhile, centre-back Giovanni Leoni and right-back Conor Bradley are still to make a return to pre-season training after their own injuries.
