LIVE: Hong Kong Policy Address 2026 and city’s first Five-Year Plan

Skip to content Chief Executive John Lee is delivering his fifth Policy Address and Hong Kong’s first Five-Year Plan on at the Legislative Council. Stay tuned for updates. Hong Kong can expect Lee to announce policies ranging from childbirth incentives to the Northern Metropolis development. He said that people could expect “binding and anticipatory” indicators from the Five-Year Plan. The blueprints total over 100,000 words and Lee’s speech is expected to last two to three hours.
