The Black Ferns have backed up their opening win of the WXV Global Series with 66-14 victory over Scotland in Edinburgh.New Zealand made several changes to the starting side from last week's win over France, and needed to make an additional late change with starting lock Laura Bayfield medically ruled out due to illness just hours before kick-off.However, New Zealand wasted no time getting on the scoreboard at Hive Stadium.In her second game for the Black Ferns, prop Mo'omo'oga Palu scored under the posts in the second minute of the match.Maama Vaipulu doubled the lead six minutes later as the vistors asserted their dominance.The Black Ferns had six different try scorers in the first half as they ran out to a 38-14 lead at half-time.In four previous meetings between the sides, dating back to 1998, Scotland had never scored a try against the Black Ferns.No.8 Evie Gallagher who scored a brace in in the span of 10 minutes in the first half will go into the history books as the first.This was also the most points Scotland had ever scored in this fixture.After the break New Zealand kept the Scottish out while scoring three more quick tries of their own.
