Liquid Mike – “Inanimate Object”

Liquid Mike, baby! What a band! How do they do it? How is it possible to continue cranking out banger after banger, never letting the energy or the quality dip? Back when they were toiling in remote obscurity, Mike Maple's Marquette, Michigan rock 'n' roll band quickly cranked out a whole series of shockingly sharp records. Now that they're out on the touring circuit, new Liquid Mike tracks don't come quite as quickly. But whenever there's a new one, you can be assured that it'll go hard.Liquid Mike released their most recent album Hell Is An Airport a little more than a year ago, and their one-off single "Drowning Machine" came out in May. Right now, they're out on tour with Oso Oso, and they've got another new single. "Inanimate Object" is a giddy, hooky, fuzzed-out power-pop rave-up about what happens to you when you die. It rocks so hard. Check out the song's Bob Sweeney-directed video below.
