Psych-folk legend Linda Perhacs has been located and is safe. Eight months ago, Perhacs was discharged from a residential care facility under the supervision of her legal guardian. Since, friends and longtime collaborators were unable to get in touch with her or her guardian. A few days ago, she was reported missing. Perhacs' former manager Laurel Stearns posted about it, urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Per The Daily Mail, a rep for LAPD's Missing Persons Unit confirmed that Perhacs was located on Wednesday. "She was found today. She's safe. We can't share where as it involves her HIPAA," they said in a statement. An update was also posted to Instagram. It reads:POSITIVE UPDATE!Linda Perhacs is safe and in a new care facility.Thank you all for your messages and thoughts.
