Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party said on Wednesday the election was "stolen" by Arab parties that "support terrorism and the destruction of the Jewish state, through serious criminal offences". In a statement carried by Israeli media, the party accused the Palestinian-led parties of using a “prohibited” software to mobilise voters and resorting to “bribery, threats, violence, forgery” in order to “steal the election”. The statement added that Likud submitted evidence to the Shin Bet and the Central Elections Committee in support of its claims. This comes after a high Palestinian voter turnout in the recent Israeli elections, held on Tuesday, where Netanyahu's party appears to have failed to gain a majority in parliament. There was no immediate comment by the Arab-led parties.
