Lidl shoppers have just HOURS to nab £25 voucher ahead of midnight deadline

LIDL shoppers have just hours left for a chance of winning a £25 voucher – enough to put towards a weekly shop. This comes as the budget retailer is expanding its “Lidl Foodies” educational program in time for the summer holidays. Ending midnight tonight (July 28), this will be shoppers’ last chance to win one of the 1,000 vouchers up for grabs – and all you have to do is submit an online competition form. This comes as Lidl’s research found that 86 per cent of families felt pressure to provide healthy meals during the summer holidays, despite rising costs of fruit and vegetables. Lidl is also expanding its “Lidl Foodies” educational program in partnership with Onside youth club. Children in Bristol, Carlisle, Croydon, Manchester, and Wolverhampton will be able to take part in free healthy cooking sessions. All those who attend will also receive a free fruit or vegetable, redeemable via the Lidl Plus app. This comes as a third of children in Lidl’s study said they would be more open to trying healthy options if they could help prepare nutritious meals. Georgina Hall, director of corporate affairs at Lidl GB, said: “As busy families prepare for six weeks without the school routine, we know that providing healthy meals can feel challenging. Most read in Money “Our Lidl Foodies Summer Clubs will give kids hands-on experience in the kitchen while making healthy food prep fun, helping to build their enjoyment of fruit and vegetables.” This is the second year that the Lidl Foodies scheme has run, and is now active in over 25 per cent of British primary schools.
