The platform has produced approximately three tonnes of lithium carbonate across three distinct product requirements: battery-grade, technical-grade and customer-specific material. This includes one tonne manufactured to a customer’s required specification and delivered under LibertyStream’s initial industrial trial order.“Everything starts with operations,” said Alex Wylie, President and CEO of LibertyStream. “Three months of production at battery-grade purity demonstrates the repeatability of our process. Customer work spanning seven organizations and our first definitive offtake agreement reflect market interest in our product.”Production Supporting Multiple Customer PathsBeginning in early July 2026, lithium carbonate samples have been delivered to four customer organizations for evaluation. LibertyStream has also produced material meeting specifications supplied by three additional prospective customers. This customer work builds on LibertyStream’s first definitive lithium carbonate offtake agreement, which provides for 600 tonnes per year beginning in 2027 and establishes contracted demand for planned production from Freedom 1.The Company continues to produce material for customer evaluation, refine product specifications and advance multiple qualification and commercial discussions.Operating Today, Advancing Freedom 1Freedom Launchpad uses the core equipment types, automation and process architecture intended for commercial deployment at Freedom 1, LibertyStream’s planned 1,000-tonne-per-year lithium carbonate facility. Each production campaign does more than produce lithium carbonate. It supplies customers with material to evaluate while generating operating data, training personnel and refining procedures.LibertyStream expects to provide further updates as production continues, customer evaluations advance and Freedom 1 development progresses.About LibertyStream Infrastructure PartnersLibertyStream is a lithium development and technology company aiming to be one of North America’s first commercial producers of lithium carbonate from oilfield brine.
