Liam and Manpreet’s Emmerdale sex scandal ‘revealed’ as Chas loses it

Chas Dingle is furious (Picture: ITV) We all know that Emmerdale’s Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) loves a murder mystery, but he could be the one to end up in the morgue if he’s not careful. When the opportunity to spend the night away at a murder mystery experience arises, Liam jumps at the chance. Unfortunately, arriving home with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) comes at a cost. Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) spots them getting out of the car together and instantly assumes the worst. She launches in on them and accuses them of having an affair. As the confrontation escalates, Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) steps in to placate Chas, explaining that all three of them were actually at a murder mystery event. Chas obviously wants to know why Liam didn’t invite her, and his explanation only upsets her further. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) finds her later, he attempts to comfort her and suggests she try proving Liam’s assumptions wrong. Paddy is horrified to find Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) lying in the vet’s surgery with a knife in her back. When Chas and Liam arrive, it becomes clear that the scene is a setup, and it’s all part of a surprise for Liam. He is giddy to discover that Chas has organised a murder mystery day just for him, and wastes no time in searching for the clues. As Liam attempts to decipher another clue, the game takes an exciting turn with the arrival of a gun-toting stranger, and Liam allows him to tie him up, believing it to be a part of Chas’ scheme. When Dylan arrives, he is instantly terrified, and it becomes clear that Liam has severely misjudged the situation. Dave explains that Dylan ratted him out to the police, and he is here to seek revenge, and it finally dawns on Liam how much danger he is in. Things only get worse when Marlon and Chas arrive.
