Leveling Guide For Aniimo

Just like many free-to-play games, Aniimo has a load of things to do, a lot of systems and, oh so many, menus for you to explore. However, many of these will be locked to you until you've raised your Research level (account level, essentially). Naturally, this should be one of your main priorities as you start out, but with so many things to do, what should you focus on? We went through the early bits of Aniimo, did some exploring, took some notes, and we're here to share what we did (and what we should have done) to level up fast. How To Level Up Fast In short: Focus on your Elite Training and do everything else along the way. Aniimo already has a very intuitive new-player guide on how you can level up fast, and we can confirm it does the job well enough. Among these, Elite Training is what raises your level cap and gives you the most experience points, so it only makes sense that you should focus on it first and foremost. With that said, you can still do other activities to make this process even faster. After all, while you're filling out the Elite Training requirements, you'll still have to walk around a lot, and there will be a lot of things to distract you. So, here are the "distractions" you should stop for and some that you shouldn't. What You Should Do To Level Up Fast Here are a few things we did, aside from the Elite Training, that helped us level up even faster: Main Story Quest This should go without saying, but always do the Main Story (Lore) quest before anything else. It's, by far, the easiest part of Aniimo with almost no challenge, and you'll mostly learn about the world, talk to a bunch of people, and most importantly, fulfill one of the requirements for raising the level cap (Elite Training). We did like the story, but if you want to skip the cutscenes, you can. After you've progressed enough through the story, the game won't let you continue until you've raised the level cap. Catch Every Aniimo You Come Across This one might seem weird if you are a Pokémon fan, but if you see an Aniimo walking around, there's very little reason why you shouldn't catch it. Here's why: It takes less than a second to throw an Aniipod You don't lose an Aniipod unless you succeed in capturing an Aniimo Even if you already have an Aniimo, you can get one with more potential You can massively release Aniimo and get upgrade items most importantly Capturing any new Aniimo gives you experience points In short, go nuts with capturing Aniimo. Think of it as Pokémon Go, but with almost no limits to how many Pokéballs you have, because you'll have more than enough. Just make sure you save the good Aniipods for the rarer Aniimos and the Alphas. Lumen Ambers Lumen Ambers are like little micro-challenges you can do as you're exploring the world. The game will inform you when you are near one. Not only are these fun to do, they take about 30 seconds to complete, give you Branch upgrades (which make the entire game easier), but they give a good chunk of XP. Blooms and Teleports When you see either a Bloom or Teleport, just activate it for a good chunk of XP. Teleports will help you get around faster, and Blooms will become useful when you start grinding for that Perfect Aniimo. What You Shouldn't Do If You Want To Level Up Fast During our leveling journey, here are some of the things that, while fun, didn't help us level up fast: Pathfinder Challenges Pathfinders Challenges are essentially the same as battling NPC Pokémon Trainers. We're a bit reluctant to recommend these, as they can get annoying, but if you come across a pathfinder and just happen to have Aniimo that have an elemental advantage over your opponents' Aniimo, go for it and collect your experience points. Otherwise, just skip them. Skip Side Quests Even though there were a few interesting side quests, we recommend you skip them if all you care about is leveling fast. These can take a lot of time to complete, and some even have real-time timers preventing you from finishing them. While the experience points they avoid are plentiful, we don't think they are worth the time if all you care about is leveling as fast as possible. Skip RV Content We absolutely adore the RV content and the whole cozy side of this creature collector game. With that said, it simply won't help you level up fast. Look, if you need to take a break from creature collecting and just feel like planting some crops, go for it. Just know it won't do you any favors when reaching the next Level Cap milestone. As much as we hate to say it, doing co-op activities really won't help you raise your level. Co-op is fun and all, but by the time you find someone willing to join your game and venture together, you could have gained a lot more experience points. We're happy that there are activities that motivate us to get social (such as Camps) but we're going to save those for AFTER we reach the max level.
