Letter: Put American needs over interventionism

I am tired of watching American taxpayer dollars poured into foreign conflicts while urgent needs at home go unmet and family budgets are stretched thin. For decades, we have moved from one distant “police action” to another — from Vietnam to the Middle East and beyond.
