Letter: Columnist Thomas stuck in noninclusive past

Cal Thomas complains about how our society has changed because of our greater inclusiveness over his lifetime (“Americans have changed since WWII, not for the better,” Star-Advertiser, Column, May 26). While I agree that his and my generation experienced a great threat to our nation’s existence and endured privations, we part ways over the Vietnam War era, Bob Dylan, feminism and gay rights. He is the whiner, here, lamenting the loss of white, straight, male dominance.
