They’re theoretically the perfect Christmas gift, but they technically are meant to be opened before the holidays. If they’re super pricey, this is an even bigger conundrum. Lego to the rescue, once again. The brand just dropped an assortment of its latest advent calendars for 2026, but that’s not the kicker: some are already on sale. Most notably, the Lego Star Wars edition. Count me in.Right now, you can grab the latest Star Wars Advent calendar for under $40. In today’s day and age, we’d call that a steal. $35 is a great price for an advent calendar with a lot of bells and whistles, and this one certainly fits that description. A few mini-builds are included in the calendar, including an Imperial Light Cruiser and a very festive X-wing.If you already own a bunch of Star Wars sets (like us), you can give them a little bit of holiday flair on the cheap. You also don’t have to go the true advent calendar route, either; as far as I know, it’s not a crime to rip them open all at once. It’s probably not as fun, but I think whoever’s getting this as a gift will just be happy with the contents inside, period.Shop the 2026 Lego Star Wars Advent CalendarTim Kohut is the Deals and Trends Editor for Popular Mechanics, Men’s Health, Best Products, and Runner's World.
