Sanrio, the brand behind Hello Kitty, is getting its first-ever official Lego sets, and they will be here in 2027. Exactly what the sets will look like and the elements they will pull from Hello Kitty's world haven't been shown off. However, the teaser confirming the good news shows which fan favorite Sanrio characters will be among the first to be transformed into Lego. The teaser begins by focusing on a Lego paper bag, and out of it rises Hello Kitty holding onto a bunch of balloons. Naturally the iconic Sanrio mascot will be a part of, likely multiple sets next year. The next characters to rise up out of the bag after her are unquestionably the second and third favorites after Hello Kitty herself - Kuromi, and My Melody. Those core three weren't the only characters lurking in the Lego bag. Shortly after they float out of view, Pompompurin rises up on his very own balloon seat. He is quickly joined by Cinnamoroll who flies in, rounding out the five characters shown that are seemingly confirmed to be a part of Sanrio's first wave of sets whenever they arrive in 2027.
