LEGO Astro Bot Set Leaks, Though It Won't Be Available as a Standalone Purchase

LEGO will soon launch an adorable Astro Bot set, though you won't be able to pick it up as a standalone purchase.Astro Bot (40899) is a 276-piece set that will be a Gift With Purchase (GWP) when you buy the previously-revealed LEGO PlayStation directly from the brand's own stores or website, while stocks last. Various leaks have pointed to the existance of this Astro Bot GWP for some time, though images of its box — and confirmation it will indeed not be able to (officially) buy on its own — have now been published by Brick Tap. (The PS1 set also includes a few cool Easter eggs featuring Sony series Gran Turismo and Ape Escape.) This version of Astro Bot will clock in at 20cm / 8" in height and 12cm / 4.5" in width.It's a cool-looking design, and one that PlayStation fans will likely want to include on their shelves.
