Legendary coffee chain with over 1,300 cafes in UK confirms closure of busy store

A LEGENDARY coffee company is set to close down its store in a busy UK seaside town. The coffee giant, which runs more than 1,300 shops across the nation, has confirmed that the coastal branch will shut down in a matter of days. Following a review of its locations, Starbucks, which recently launched the return of the iconic PSL, announced that Hove would lose its store. “We regularly review our portfolio to ensure our stores are relevant for our customers,” a Starbucks spokesperson confirmed. The global conglomerate also explained that employees losing jobs as a result of the closure have been offered new roles at alternative branches. “Our store on Western Road, Hove will close on October 4 and all partners (employees) have been offered positions at other Starbucks coffeehouses in the local area,” the statement continued. “We thank our customers for their loyalty over the years and invite them to find their nearest store on the Starbucks Store Locator.” While the Western Road Starbucks will be no more, customers after their usual caffiene fix will be able to visit a handful of the brand’s nearby coffeehouses.
