LEGENDARY 70s band The Nolans have been forced to postpone their tour dates last minute. Sharing a statement on Tuesday, it read: “Due to circumstances completely beyond Anne, Denise and Maureen’s control, our remaining three shows have been postponed. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “Management have exhausted every possible option to make the original dates – 18th September, 26th September and 3rd October go ahead. But sadly it has not been possible. “We are so sorry to everyone who has made plans and travelled from near and far to see us. Thank you for standing by us. “We love you and look forward to seeing you in November. “Anne, Denise and Maureen.” They did not go into further details about the reason for cancelling the gigs, but fans were still full of support. One wrote: “YES QUEENS!!! Hope you are all okay, lots of love.” A second posted: “You need to rest. It’s okay if you don’t want to do the concerts because fans still support you.” Another added: “Thank you for warning, I hope with all my heart that you are okay girls, you will always have our support, we love you very much.” The Nolan Sisters have enjoyed an illustrious career as a chart topping girl group. However, the family have been struck by tragedy over the years, with the passing of sister Linda in 2025 and Bernie in 2013 following a long battle with cancer. The Nolans were a chart-topping Irish girlband formed of sisters Maureen, Coleen, Denise, Linda and Bernie. They were originally part of family band, The Nolan Family, which included their parents and two brothers. The sisters were a mainstay of Saturday night television in the Seventies, showing off matching gowns and cutesy dance moves on everything from Morecambe and Wise to The Two Ronnies and The Cliff Richard Show.
