Leeds United vs Manchester United - Premier League LIVE: Under-fire Michael Carrick takes Red Devils to Elland Road for Roses derby in first game since Lisandro Martinez's explosive rant

After an incredible impact in the second half of last season, the mood around Michael Carrick has changed dramatically. With his side 14th in the Premier League after picking up just six points in six games, out of the Carabao Cup, and coming off a 2-0 defeat by Atletico Madrid, the former United midfielder is under pressure. If that wasn't enough, Lisandro Martinez's explosive rant at the club's hierarchy after the Atletico game - where he hit out at United's performance in Spain, insisted Carrick was 'doing his best', and accused the club's hierarchy of not backing the team enough - has only increased the noise at Old Trafford right now. With this game being a Roses derby, you feel like it is a very big day for Carrick.
