Especially in the US, you normally get the trophy for everything! “I am a bit annoyed, but all jokes aside, there couldn’t be a better ending of this tour. “The boys have worked so hard — three weeks right now without a day off, more or less two weeks here in the US. “Against Liverpool, we had more shots, more shots on target, way more corner kicks, set-pieces. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s pre-season was looking fairly positive – until the Leeds bump in the road – with two wins over Sunderland and Wrexham. Their transfer window has occupied fewer headlines than last summer despite talisman Mo Salah’s exit. Andrew Robertson has also departed to Spurs, while Ibrahima Konate boarded the flight to Real Madrid.
