A new series set in the same universe as the novels has been confirmed as the franchise begins to expand on Prime Video. Reacher season 4 is set to debut on the streaming platform starting Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Based on the book Gone Tomorrow, the eight-episode season will debut with three episodes before switching to a weekly format. Season 5 has been confirmed already, too, with filming having begun. In addition, following season 4's wrapping up, a new spinoff, Neagley, will arrive, with all eight episodes set to drop on September 16, 2026. During the Reacher panel at San Diego Comic-Con, actor Maria Sten confirmed that her character, Francis Neagley, will be getting her own spinoff book. Titled Zero Margin, the book is co-written by Lee Child and Yasmin Angoe, and is set for release in March 2027. The book is intended to be the first in the Neagley series, following a very different set of adventures for the recurring character in the Jack Reacher novels. As of writing, no other details about the book have been revealed. The Neagley spinoff follows Sten's character as she embarks upon a new solo mission, learning that someone close from her past was killed in a way that denotes foul play. Armed with a need for justice and revenge, Neagley attempts to discover the truth about what happened to her friend, uncovering a major conspiracy in the process. The trailer teases a sharp, action-packed series that doesn't pull any punches, leaning into what makes Reacher so powerful while forging its own path as a spy-style action crime thriller. It's unclear if the new novel will be connected to the TV series, but the fact it's coming out after the show signals it may have its own story. But, should Neagley get renewed for a season 2, there's no word on if it would pull from the novel should it happen. It's one of two upcoming novels set in the universe, the other being Book 31 of Jack Reacher, titled Chain Reaction, scheduled for release on October 20, 2026. The books remain a powerful force for the franchise, despite the TV show's ample popularity. More to come...
