Leaked Iron Man Game Trailer Praised By Marvel Fans

Sign in to your ScreenRant account It’s been a bit of a weird period for Iron Man lately, and amid the hype that’s swelled for Grand Theft Auto 6’s Extended Look gameplay reveal, no less. Indeed, not too long ago, a massive amount of gameplay from Avalanche’s canceled Iron Man game was leaked, illustrating what the Mad Max developer’s take on the iconic Marvel superhero might’ve looked like. Coincidentally, another yet-to-be-titled Iron Man game has leaked since, though this one is still in development. EA Motive’s Iron Man game hasn’t made a peep following its announcement a whopping four years ago, accompanied by a silhouette of the armor-clad billionaire philanthropist, but a leaked trailer suggests that we may finally be hearing more about it quite soon. Shared across Twitter/X, it appears as if an unfinished, work-in-progress gameplay trailer for EA Motive’s Iron Man game has found its way to social media. This trailer marries gameplay and cinematics together, depicting how stunning it will be to soar through what appears to be an enormous open-world city, punch and launch enemies in fluid, close-quarters combat, and perhaps even tinker and modify Tony Stark’s gorgeous catalog of suits. Not many suits are shown thus far, but it can be presumed that there will be a ton. Plus, the Tony Stark character model isn’t complete in some of the trailer’s more story-centric shots, and so it’s possible that everyone’s looks might change or be tweaked before the game launches, much less before the trailer does. Due to having just seen leaks for a canceled Iron Man game, fans are understandably conflating the two and unsure if this game is even coming out. Thankfully, we’ve heard no such news about whether EA Motive’s game is in peril, and a trailer being worked on recently should hopefully suggest that the chefs in the kitchen are still cooking. We’re certainly in an era of leaks being incredibly ubiquitous for nearly any AAA blockbuster epic that is coming out, and while it’s great to see that this title is still in development (not every superhero game has been so lucky lately), it’ll obviously be a blow to the studio that has tried to keep it under wraps this whole time. If Iron Man’s gameplay already looks this terrific in a trailer that’s clearly unfinished, it can only be imagined how wonderful the game might look once it’s gone gold. According to the trailer, we might only get a release window for it, whenever this trailer is finished and premieres (assuming it’s not scrapped or redone now). Either way, fans are highly anticipating this Iron Man game and pray that it can lead Marvel Games into a beautiful new era beyond Insomniac’s extraordinary efforts.
