Lucas has found the finger pointed at him in the wake of his comeback to the village, with various residents speculating that due to his recent stint in prison, he is to blame for dad Ste’s (Kieron Richardson) disappearance. Ste vanished without a trace last month amid a stroll through a shopping centre, with his love ones worried sick. Lucas, who still hasn’t forgiven his father for sleeping with love of his life Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), was surprised by Ste’s disappearance but claims to have had no involvement in it. Things, however, took quite a turn this week as Leah overheard a conversation between he and Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) and came to believe that Lucas was ‘guilty’. A row broke out between Lucas and sister Leah, who subsequently took a tumble down the steps outside the Lomax residence. Leah recovers in hospital and next week she reiterates her belief that Lucas is totally innocent. And despite her injuries, she flees the hospital in a bid to prove her brother’s innocence. Things don’t exactly go to plan at first as she is swamped by a series of content creators outside the hospital, who want to get the latest scoop on her family drama. Later, Leah heads to The Dog, where she professes her brother’s innocence once more. And a shock follows, with a food vlogger’s post on social media confirming to Leah that Lucas is nearer than she thinks – he’s hiding in Chester. Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) is determined to call the police but Leah begs her not to, revealing that she will find Lucas. And speaking to Lucas, Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) locates him in the food van but decides to keep such information from Leah. Later, chaos ensues between Imran and Lucas – with disaster set to strike.
