Lawyer accused of vile sex acts with pet dog after ‘wife caught him on security cam’ as mugshot shows bite on his nose

NewsWorld News A LAWYER has allegedly been caught on camera sexually abusing their family dog, his wife has claimed. While rewatching footage recorded on November 21, 2025, she found her husband “forcing oral from their dog”, according to a probable cause affidavit. The Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals contacted Detective Natalie Spellman, an animal cruelty investigator, to look into the wife’s complaint against her husband on 11 May, 2026. The footage allegedly shows the attorney “lying on his back in a bed in a room that appeared to be a bedroom”, according to Detective Spellman. She also recalled that you can hear Swain saying “Come here, Shipley”, with the dog eventually entering the frame. The police mugshot shows a bite on Swain’s nose. After discovering his depraved acts, Swain’s wife separated from him and even took the dog with her, according to court documents. She stated that she was “unaware how long this has been going on but believes it’s happened more than once”, according to court documents. Most read in The Sun The reason he gave to the detective why she had decided to fit extra cameras in the house was because Swain was allegedly “seeing prostitutes regularly multiple times along with other weird occurrences inside the home” between the end of October and the beginning of November 2025. She later told detectives that she didn’t know what to do with the discovered footage, but she was “100 per cent sure” that the man defiling her dog Shipley was her husband. Following investigations, Swain was charged with bestiality and has been released from jail on a $75,000 bond. Swain has been practicing as an attorney in Houston since 1997.
