The socialite, 49, shared an insight into their break with fans as they holidayed abroad and enjoyed quality family time. In one photo, Simon, 66, and Lauren put on a cosy display at a cafe, while in another they beamed during an outing with Eric. She also shared photos with her other son, Adam, 20. Lauren shares Adam with her ex-husband Andrew Silverman, who she was married to for ten years.She wrote: 'Is September the new January? I always find September a little emotional. Maybe it's because it feels like a little bubble and then suddenly it's over. The long days. The late nights. The lack of routine. The feeling that time has slowed down just a little. Simon is reportedly set to 'undergo back surgery' six years after fearing he would never walk again following his terrifying e-bike crash. The music mogul broke his back in 2020 after being thrown off an electric bike when he was testing the vehicle at his home in Malibu, California.He underwent extensive surgery after the shock accident including having a metal rod put in his back to stabilise it and he has overhauled his lifestyle in the years since. According to sources, ITV is said to be in talks with production company Talkback Thames about bringing the singing competition back in a bid to boost viewing figures. The X Factor pulled in 19 million viewers during its heyday and saw contestants such as Leona Lewis and One Direction become household names. After 15 series, it was shelved by ITV and went on to have two spin-off series X Factor: Celebrity and X Factor: The Band.
