SHOPPERS can scoop up some classic chocolates at hundreds of supermarkets this weekend without the need for their loyalty card. The popular chocolates are selling for 30 per cent less but only while stocks last. While Christmas might be a few months away, customers can save a couple of quid by preparing early and buying the festive faves this weekend. The supermarket has said the Celebrations Milk Chocolate Tub (500g), Cadbury Heroes Chocolate Assortment Tub (475g), Quality Street Chocolate Tub (550g) and Cadbury Roses Chocolate Assortment Tub (475g) can all be purchased for £4.00 both in store and online. However, shoppers have also been advised to check the opening and closing times of their local Asda stores, as shops may vary because of the bank holiday weekend. Most Asda stores in England and Wales will operate reduced hours on the Bank Holiday, typically between 8 am and 10 pm. Meanwhile, Asda Express locations will remain open for 24 hours or until their usual closing time, with more information available on the Asda store locator. Some chocolate fans may also want to keep their eye out for an old chocolate fave that has just returned to shelves in the supermarket.
