The Eagles are practicing without right tackle Lane Johnson for the fourth straight day on Wednesday. Johnson has been excused from practice for what is described as a non-injury related reason. There’s been no word from the team about when Johnson will be back, but Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that he is expected to return soon. Markel Bell has been working with the first team at right tackle during Johnson’s absence. Johnson took some time this offseason before announcing he’d return for his 14th season with the Eagles. He missed the team’s final eight games of the 2025 season with a foot injury and said in June that he “didn’t want to go out that way.”
