Lane Johnson is expected to practice on Friday

Published August 7, 2026 09:37 AM Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson’s absence from training camp has come to an end. Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Johnson is back with the Eagles and that he is expected to take part in Friday’s practice. Johnson missed several practices over the last week for non-injury reasons. Johnson’s return to the lineup this season has been much anticipated after he missed the team’s final eight games last year with a foot injury. That contributed to the end of a four-year run of first- or second-team All-Pro selections and the Eagles will be hoping Johnson returns to form now that he’s healthy again. Rookie Markel Bell worked at right tackle while Johnson was away from the team and will now return to a reserve role.
