Norris – who has a Belgian mother – understands some Belgian phrases and had a hilarious conversation with one journalist. The reporter said he “took his hat off to him” in Belgian and Norris replied saying “thank you” in the same language . Norris was then asked what other Dutch words he knew and replied: “Ah, Neuken in de keuken!” The phrase translates to “f***ing in the kitchen”, which left the interviewer in stitches. The journalist asked: “You know what that means right?” Norris added: “Is that right, or not? Don’t tell him. He’s never done it.” Norris then discussed his win in Belgium and and admitted he had “lost motivation” before the race amid his slow start to the season. He re-ignited his title charge after his successive wins and is now fourth and 83 points behind leader Antonelli. Norris said: “It is nice to win the final race here. In general, this has always been a good circuit for me. “The pace was very strong today. After Saturday’s race (the sprint race), I certainly didn’t have high expectations. “I had lost my motivation a bit, because it hurt to see how difficult we were finding it. “But today, as soon as I was on the hard tires, my pace was very good and I felt much more comfortable, so I could at least attack. “It was good. I made the most of my opportunities. A good strategy, with good pit stops and good decisions from the team. “And the fact that I won the last race here in Zandvoort makes it even more special. So I am very happy.” And he insisted the “fight is still on” after holding off Antonelli to claim his massive victory. He told his team: “Let’s keep pushing! It’s not easy. Thanks for the hard work. Let’s keep bringing upgrades. Let’s keep bringing performance. The fight is still on. Let’s keep going.” Comment now
