LAKELAND has launched a new stainless steel pan that does the job of ten – and it costs exactly half the price of the premium rival it resembles. Lakeland’s Only Pan Pro is a 27cm tri-ply pan, which boasts three bonded layers of stainless steel around an aluminium core, with a PFAS-free ceramic non-stick interior. It comes with a domed stainless steel lid, a steamer basket, and a silicone turner in the box. The versatile kitchen essential can be used to bake, grill, steam, simmer, pan-fry, boil, sauté, stir-fry, braise and strain. But the Lakeland version isn’t dishwasher-safe and should be hand washed to protect the coating. So if you want something you can put straight in the dishwasher, you may need to look elsewhere. The lid and helper handles get hot, and there’s no pour spout, so liquid may run down the outside. Still, this is a great buy for anyone cooking for two to four people regularly who wants less utensils to clutter their kitchen.
