Lactic acid, artificial preservative?

CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois declined to dismiss a proposed class action accusing Kraft Heinz of misleading consumers by labeling its Philadelphia Cheesecake Crumble desserts as containing “no artificial preservatives” even though they contain lactic acid.
