A LABOUR MP has been accused of raiding a historic cafe’s fridge on a sombre trip to Normandy to mark the anniversary of D-Day. A source told The Sun: “It was quite embarassing, really.” Both MPs are understood to believe the episodes are “misunderstandings” and insist they did not misbehave. They are also understood to deny being reprimanded by Sir Lindsay and instead said they discussed the “misunderstandings”. The Speaker’s Office declined to comment.
