Shah, a finance graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, began in customer service, learning the business from the ground up. Over the next two decades, she transformed it into Metropolis Healthcare, currently India’s second-largest diagnostics chain, operating across more than 750 towns. Along the way, she raised three rounds of private equity and took the company public in 2019. In FY26, group revenue grew 23.6 per cent to Rs 1,646 crore.
