La Familia Injury Report: Game 2 status updates on Archie Goodwin, WCS, and Marcus Lee

After winning Game 1 on Saturday, La Familia will receive a scoring punch going into an important Game 2. Former Kentucky guard Archie Goodwin will suit up to take on The Ville in The Basketball Tournament on Monday night in Freedom Hall. Goodwin, who led La Familia in scoring (18 PPG) during last summer’s TBT run, was unavailable for Game 1 due to a scheduling conflict. With his team already leading the series 1-0, he’ll take the floor tonight with a chance to help finish off the best-of-three series. Additionally, center Willie Cauley-Stein is listed as questionable after suffering an apparent ankle injury in Game 1. “Don’t know what’s going on,” Head coach Jon Hood said of Cauley-Stein’s injury following Saturday’s matchup. “Won’t know for a little bit, sounds like.” The UK alums will also be without center Marcus Lee, who was not in attendance for Game 1. If Cauley-Stein is also unable to go, La Familia will miss their size inside against Montrezl Harrell and the rest of The Ville’s frontcourt. The Ville’s Ray Spalding and Angel Nunez will both sit out Game 2 after also missing Game 1. Below is the complete injury report ahead of Game 2, per TBT. Tipoff for Game 2 is set for 7:00 p.m. ET on FS1. La Familia Archie Goodwin: ACTIVE Willie Cauley-Stein: QUESTIONABLE Marcus Lee: OUT The Ville Ray Spalding: OUT Angel Nunez: OUT
